The SECO 02425001 is an end replaceable milling tip designed for slotting operations in the Minimaster MM10 tooling system. Made from carbide with a TiAlN and TiN PVD coating, it delivers wear resistance and thermal stability across a range of demanding workpiece materials. The tip features a 0.197-inch cutting diameter, a maximum depth of cut of 0.017 inches, and a functional length of 0.335 inches. With a right-hand cut orientation and MD08 chipbreaker geometry, it is suited for controlled chip evacuation in tight slotting applications. Licensed machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments are the primary installers of this insert style.

This milling tip is used in slotting applications where close tolerances and chip control are critical. The MM10 series Minimaster platform is common in small-diameter milling work on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Installation Notes

Installation and replacement of end replaceable milling tips should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician with the machine fully stopped and in a locked-out, de-energized state. Use the appropriate torque wrench and SECO-specified tooling key to seat the tip securely in the Minimaster holder — do not overtighten by hand.
