The SECO 02424995 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for slotting operations in the Minimaster MM08 series. It features two flutes and a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual coating for extended tool life across demanding workpiece materials. The cutting diameter is 0.157 inches with a maximum depth of cut of 0.015 inches and a corner radius of 0.024 inches. The MD06 chipbreaker geometry and 90-degree lead angle make this tip suited for high-feed slotting passes. The F30M manufacturer grade targets a broad range of ferrous and exotic materials. Licensed machinists and tooling specialists install this tip into compatible MM08 series holders.
This milling tip is intended for use in slotting operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials. The 90-degree lead angle and MD06 chipbreaker support efficient chip evacuation in slot milling and light profiling applications. With a functional length of 0.269 inches and a cutting width of 0.315 inches, it fits compact tooling setups on CNC machining centers. This tip is a right-hand cut configuration and does not support coolant-through delivery.
Designed for use with Minimaster MM08 series toolholders accepting the MM08-08.40HF insert size. Compatible workpiece material codes include P, M, K, S, and H. Minimum order quantity is 2 pieces; package quantity is 1.
Installation is performed by a machinist or tooling technician on a CNC machining center. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before seating or removing the tip. Seat the tip firmly in the holder per the toolholder manufacturer torque procedure. Do not exceed the rated maximum depth of cut of 0.015 inches per pass.
