The SECO 02036 is a square tool bit blank machined from WKE45-grade cobalt high-speed steel. Measuring 8 mm (approximately 0.315 inches) in width, 8 mm in height, and 100 mm (approximately 3.937 inches) in overall length, this blank provides the raw stock machinists and tool grinders need to produce custom single-point lathe tools, boring bars, and specialty cutting tools. The WKE45 cobalt grade delivers elevated hot hardness and wear resistance compared to standard M2 high-speed steel, making it well suited for grinding tool profiles intended to cut tough ferrous alloys, stainless steel, and high-temperature materials.
