The SECO 00096107 is a replaceable tip milling shank designed for use in the Minimaster series tooling system. It accepts MM06-style milling tips and features a 90-degree shank configuration with a 3/8-inch shank diameter. The overall length is 1.57 inches, with a neck diameter of 0.224 inches and a head length of 0.276 inches. Constructed from steel, this shank provides a rigid, repeatable interface between the machine spindle and the interchangeable cutting tip. It is installed by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC milling operations.
This shank is suited for light to medium milling applications where quick tip changes and consistent tool projection are required. The Minimaster platform allows the cutting tip to be swapped without removing the shank from the holder, reducing changeover time on production and job-shop floors. With a maximum cutting diameter of 0.375 inches and a 7.00 mm projection, it fits compact milling setups where clearance and reach are critical factors. No coolant-through capability is present on this shank.
Designed for use with the SECO Minimaster series, accepting MM06-style replaceable milling tips with a maximum diameter of 0.375 inches.
This shank is installed by machinists or tooling technicians using standard CNC mill tooling procedures. The machine spindle must be powered down and brought to a full stop before any toolholder or tip change is performed. Verify that the shank seats fully and that the tip is properly torqued per the tip manufacturer's specification before resuming operation. Inspect the shank interface for chips or debris before each tip change to maintain runout accuracy.
