The SECO 00096013 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for the Minimaster MM12 tooling system. This profile-style tip features a 0.472-inch cutting diameter, three flutes with a 30-degree helix angle, and a right-hand cut orientation. The F40M grade substrate is coated with TiAlN and TiN via a PVD process, providing wear resistance across a broad range of workpiece materials. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.602 inches and a functional length of 0.783 inches, this tip handles moderate to deep milling passes. It is installed and replaced by CNC machinists and tooling specialists working on milling machines equipped with compatible Minimaster-style holders.
This milling tip is suited for use on steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 90-degree lead angle and 0.236-inch corner radius make it well suited for profile milling and shoulder milling operations. Coolant-through capability is supported, allowing high-pressure coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone for improved chip evacuation and thermal control in demanding cutting conditions. It conforms to ANSI standards and carries material grade coverage across P10 through P50, N10 through N20, M10 through M40, and S10 through S20 classifications.
Designed for use with MM12 Minimaster series end mill holders. Compatible holder interface is specified as MM12-0.472-B90A30-M04 per the manufacturer full description.
This tip is installed by CNC tooling technicians or machinists using the appropriate Minimaster torque wrench or key specified for the MM12 holder system. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before removing or seating the milling tip. Ensure the tip pocket and clamping bore are clean and free of chips before installation. Follow the holder manufacturer torque procedure to avoid tip movement or premature wear during cutting.
