The SECO 00093777 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for the Minimaster MM16 modular milling system. It features 2 flutes, a 0.750 inch cutting width, and a maximum depth of cut of 0.5 inches (12.7 mm). The tip carries a manufacturer grade of F30M with a TiAlN and TiN PVD coating for extended tool life in demanding applications. Chipbreaker style is E06, and the insert is right-hand cut with a 90 degree lead angle and an 8 degree helix angle. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in metalworking environments install this tip as a quick-change cutting insert on compatible MM16 toolholders.
This milling tip is suited for slotting operations on steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials (material codes P, N, H). Applicable material grades include P20, P30, and H10. The 90 degree included angle and 0.0310 inch corner radius make it appropriate for square-shoulder and slot milling passes. It meets ANSI standards and is packaged individually. Typical applications include production machining on CNC vertical and horizontal milling centers where quick insert changeovers reduce downtime.
Designed as a direct replacement insert for the SECO Minimaster MM16 modular milling system, fitting toolholders that accept the 0.750-R2A8 insert size. Compatible with machining of steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials per material codes P, N, and H.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and locked out before replacing or seating the milling tip. Use only the manufacturer-specified torque wrench or clamping key for the MM16 interface to avoid seat damage. Inspect the toolholder pocket and seating surface for chips or wear before installing a new tip.
