The SECO 00093748 is a ball nose replaceable milling tip engineered for use with Minimaster MM06 series modular end mill systems. Manufactured from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating, this right-hand tip carries a manufacturer grade of F30M and is designed for high-precision profile milling operations. It features a 0.250 inch cutting width, a 0.125 inch corner radius, and a maximum depth of cut of 0.248 inches, making it well suited for finish and semi-finish milling of steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and trade professionals who also perform precision machining work will recognize the MM06 platform as a reliable interchangeable system.
This tip is intended for use in CNC machining centers and milling operations where a modular, replaceable insert system reduces tooling changeover time. Primary workpiece materials include steel (P20, P30), non-ferrous metals, and hard materials (H10), consistent with material grade codes P, N, and H. The 90-degree lead angle and E02 chipbreaker geometry suit profile-style milling passes in both roughing and finishing contexts. It is sold individually per package with a minimum order quantity of 2 units.
Designed for use with SECO Minimaster MM06 series modular milling holders accepting the 0.250-B90S insert size. Verified compatible insert designation: MM06-0.250-B90S-E02.
Replacement of milling tips in modular end mill systems should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Use the appropriate torque wrench and manufacturer-specified seating tool when securing the tip to the holder body. Inspect the holder pocket and seating surface for wear or debris before installing a new tip. Do not exceed the maximum depth of cut or feed rates specified in the SECO Minimaster application guide for this tip geometry.
