The SECO 00091035 is a solid carbide multi-directional turning insert designed for precision grooving and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Part of the MDT series, this double-ended, neutral-hand insert carries a CP500 manufacturer grade and features a PVD-applied TiAlN/TiN coating for extended tool life across a wide range of workpiece materials. The insert measures 0.157 inches in cutting width and 0.157 inches in cutting height, with a 0.008-inch corner radius and a full radius geometry. Micrograin carbide construction supports consistent edge integrity at elevated cutting speeds. Licensed machinists and tool-room technicians are the primary installers.

This insert is suited for multi-directional turning, grooving, and profiling applications in both production and job-shop environments. The LCMF insert style and FT chipbreaker geometry make it appropriate for light to medium stock removal passes. Primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S indicate suitability across hardened steels, cast iron, stainless, non-ferrous alloys, carbon steels, and heat-resistant superalloys.
