The tip is finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual coating and carries manufacturer grade F30M with a M07 chipbreaker designation. Functional length is 0.724 inches. This insert-style tip threads into compatible MM16 holders and is suited for finish and semi-finish milling operations in a shop or production environment. Installation is performed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians.
This milling tip is intended for use on steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials, corresponding to material codes P, M, N, and H. Recommended material grades are P20, P30, M10, M20, and H10. The 90-degree included angle and ball nose profile make it applicable to profiling, contouring, and 3D surface milling operations. The M07 chipbreaker is optimized for medium-duty cuts across these workpiece categories. This tip does not support coolant-through delivery.
Designed for use with SECO Minimaster MM16 series tooling holders. Insert size designation is 0.625-B90P. Minimum order quantity is 2 units; package quantity is 1.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing or seating the milling tip. Use the appropriate torque wrench and tip-installation tool specified for the MM16 holder system to seat the tip properly. Inspect the seating surface and threads on the holder for wear or contamination before installing a new tip.
