The SECO 00084297 is a replaceable carbide milling tip designed for the Minimaster MM16 modular end mill system. This chamfer-style tip features a 90-degree included angle with a 45-degree lead angle and a 45-degree chamfer angle, making it suited for chamfering, center drilling, and spotting operations. The tip is manufactured from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating for heat and wear resistance. It carries a 0.750-inch cutting width, a maximum depth of cut of 0.378 inches (9.6 mm), and a functional length of 0.872 inches (22.15 mm). The T60M manufacturer grade and M06 chipbreaker geometry are optimized for controlled chip evacuation across a wide range of workpiece materials. Installation requires a compatible MM16 Minimaster holder.
This tip is intended for use in machining centers and milling machines where modular tooling systems are preferred for quick tip changes and consistent repeatability. It is rated for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S, and H. Right-hand cut orientation makes it compatible with standard spindle rotation. It is appropriate for production environments in aerospace, general metalworking, and precision machining shops where a single tool platform handles multiple operations.

Replaceable milling tips should be installed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician following the holder manufacturer torque and seating procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before tip removal or installation. Inspect the holder interface for chips, debris, or wear before seating the new tip. Do not force the tip into the holder; proper seating is achieved by hand engagement followed by the specified wrench tightening per the holder documentation.
