The SECO 00072312 is a solid carbide turning insert in the WNMP-MF1 series, designed for precision metal removal on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries the industry-standard designation WNMP332-MF1 and is manufactured to ANSI and ISO specifications, with an ISO equivalent code of WNMG060408-MF1. The CP200 grade substrate is finished with a multilayer PVD TiAlN and TiN coating, which provides heat resistance and wear life suited to demanding cutting applications. The insert features an 80-degree trigon shape, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a 1/32-inch corner radius, and delivers six usable cutting edges per insert. The MF1 chip breaker geometry produces a honed cutting edge with a negative rake angle.
