With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.1366 inches, it fits compatible laydown threading toolholders used in CNC turning and thread-chasing operations. Insert replacement and seating should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Use the manufacturer-specified torque wrench or clamping key for the toolholder to seat the insert without rocking or side-loading the pocket. Inspect the insert pocket for chips or wear before seating a new insert, as debris can affect thread form accuracy. Do not use damaged or chipped inserts; discard and replace per your shop's tooling protocol.
