The SECO 00049791 is a laydown threading insert designed for right-hand external UN thread cutting at 11 threads per inch (TPI). Built from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiAlN/TiN finish, it carries the CP500 manufacturer grade and belongs to the Snap-Tap series. The 60-degree included angle matches the UN thread form standard. With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.1366 inches, this insert fits standard laydown toolholders used in CNC and manual turning operations.
