The SECO 00043256 is a right-hand SDJC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for external turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built on a 0.75 x 0.75 inch square steel shank with an overall length of 4.5 inches, this toolholder uses a screw-lock clamping method to secure DC-type inserts with a 3/8 inch inscribed circle. The neutral rake geometry and 0-degree rake angle provide stable, predictable cutting action across a broad range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments will find this a straightforward, reliable setup.
This toolholder is suited for turning applications across universal workpiece material categories including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, stainless, heat-resistant alloys, cast iron, and non-metallic materials, corresponding to ISO material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. The right-hand cutting direction and -3 degree lead angle position this holder for typical straight turning and facing passes. It accepts DCMT 32.52 inserts, making insert sourcing and changeover predictable on the shop floor.
Compatible with DC..32.5. series inserts, including DCMT 32.52. Designed as a direct-use OEM-style screw-lock turning toolholder for lathes and turning centers accepting a 3/4 x 3/4 inch square shank.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the turret or tool post is locked out before mounting or removing the toolholder. Seat the shank fully into the tool block or quick-change post and tighten all mounting fasteners to the machine manufacturer's specified torque. Confirm insert seating and screw torque per the insert manufacturer's guidelines before taking a cut.
