The SECO 00040535 is a TNMG 432-M5 indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide with a multilayer CVD coating of TiC, TiCN, and TiN. Rated to manufacturer grade TP40 with material grades P40, M35, and M40, it is engineered for machining steel and stainless steel in general turning applications. The insert features a triangular shape with a 60-degree included angle, a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, a 0.0315-inch corner radius, and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style. With 6 cutting edges per insert and a neutral hand orientation, it delivers consistent performance in production turning environments.
