The SECO 00039080 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI/ISO designation SONX120508TR-M12 and manufacturer grade T350M. Designed for indexable face and shoulder milling operations, this square-shaped single-sided insert features a CVD-applied TiCN and Al2O3 coating for elevated wear resistance and thermal stability. It delivers four usable cutting edges per insert with a positive rake angle of 16 degrees and a T-Land cutting edge style. At 0.5 inches inscribed circle diameter and 0.2035 inches thick, it fits the SECO R220.99-12 cutter series and is held in place by a screw-type clamping method. This insert is primarily rated for stainless steel (ISO material code M) and is also suitable for steel (P), cast iron (K), and superalloys and titanium (S). The M12 chip breaker geometry supports medium-grain cutting conditions across these material groups.
