The SECO 00030464 is a solid carbide ball nose milling insert designed for high-performance metal removal in CNC milling applications. Manufactured to the 218.20-160ER-M08 standard, this right-hand insert features a 0.500-inch inscribed circle, a 0.252-inch thickness, and a 0.630-inch corner radius. The F40M fine-grain carbide grade is paired with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual-layer coating, delivering heat and wear resistance suited to aggressive cutting conditions. With two honed cutting edges and a positive rake geometry, the insert promotes clean chip flow and reduced cutting forces.
