The SECO 00029124 is a solid carbide tapered end mill designed for precision machining operations requiring a controlled taper profile. Built to Series HK standards, it features a 15-degree taper angle per side and a 0.1575-inch small end diameter, with a 0.5906-inch length of cut. The three-flute, right-hand spiral configuration promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining rigidity in the cut. The square end geometry delivers clean, flat-bottomed results. With a 12 mm shank diameter and an overall length of 65 mm, this tool fits standard end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling setups alike.
This tapered end mill is suited for milling applications across a range of workpiece materials, including cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and superalloys, corresponding to material codes K, M, N, P, and S. The uncoated solid carbide construction makes it appropriate for short-run work, non-ferrous materials, or applications where re-sharpening is planned.
