The SECO 00023732 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip engineered for slotting operations in demanding metal-cutting applications. Part of the Minimaster MM16 series, this tip features a 0.625-inch cutting width, a 3-flute geometry, and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation during interrupted and continuous cuts. The F40M manufacturer grade combined with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating delivers thermal resistance and wear protection across a wide range of workpiece materials. Coolant-through capability is built in, supporting higher cutting data and tool life in production environments. The right-hand insert orientation and 90-degree lead angle suit standard vertical and horizontal milling setups.
This milling tip is rated for slotting in steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, N, S, and H. Material grades P10 through P50, N10 through N20, M10 through M40, and S10 through S20 fall within the designed operating range. The chipbreaker designation M06 and corner radius of 0.031 inches make this tip suitable for medium-duty finishing and semi-finishing passes where edge integrity and surface finish are critical. It mounts to MM16-compatible Minimaster holders and is sized for tooling systems used in CNC machining centers across job shop and production environments.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with indexable milling systems. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the milling tip. Use the torque wrench and clamping hardware specified by the holder manufacturer — do not use substitutes. Inspect the seating pocket for debris or damage before each insert change to ensure proper tip engagement and runout control.
