The SECO 00023715 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Minimaster MM08 series indexable milling system. The tip features a 0.315-inch cutting diameter, a maximum depth of cut of 0.394 inches, and a 3-flute configuration with a 30-degree helix angle. The corner radius measures 0.020 inches, and the functional length is 0.512 inches. The TiAlN and TiN PVD coating improves wear resistance and extends tool life across a range of workpiece materials. This tip is installed and replaced by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC milling operations.
This milling tip is suited for slotting operations in both production and job-shop environments. It is compatible with a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The right-hand cutting configuration and M03 chipbreaker are optimized for general-purpose material removal. Coolant-through capability supports higher cutting speeds and improved chip evacuation in demanding applications. The 90-degree lead angle and included angle make it appropriate for shoulder and slot milling where precise wall geometry is required.
Designed as a direct-fit replaceable tip for the Minimaster MM08 series milling system. Compatible with workpiece material grades P10 through P50, N10 through N20, M10 through M40, and S10 through S20 per standard material classification. Meets ANSI standards.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before removing or seating the milling tip. Ensure the seating surface on the holder is clean and free of chips before installing the replacement tip. Follow the tool manufacturer torque specifications for the clamping mechanism as provided in the Minimaster toolholder documentation.
