The SECO 00023316 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding material applications. It features a 2 mm cutting diameter, a 0.15 mm corner radius, and a 2.2 mm length of cut with two right-hand spiral flutes. The tool is finished with SECO's MEGA-T coating, which improves wear resistance and heat dissipation during high-speed cuts. With a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank and a 50 mm overall length, it is sized for use in CNC machining centers and high-precision milling fixtures. This end mill is center-cutting and single-end, making it suitable for plunging and profiling operations.

This end mill is engineered for milling a broad range of workpiece materials, including hardened steels, stainless and heat-resistant alloys, non-ferrous metals, and titanium-based alloys, as indicated by primary workpiece material codes H, M, N, P, and S. The extended-reach neck design, with a 1.90 mm neck diameter and 12 mm reach length, allows access to deep features and tight pockets without interference from the shank. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. The tool must be secured in a compatible collet or end mill holder rated for the 6 mm shank diameter, and runout should be verified at the spindle before beginning a cut. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an estop or tool-change state before inserting or removing the end mill. Do not exceed the tool's rated length of cut of 2.2 mm axially without consulting the manufacturer's feed and speed recommendations.
