The SECO 00023307 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built on the JM920 series platform, it features a 1.5 mm cutting diameter, a 0.15 mm corner radius, and two right-hand spiral flutes for efficient chip evacuation. The tool carries a MEGA-T coating that improves wear resistance and extends tool life across a range of workpiece materials. With an overall length of 50 mm and a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank, this end mill is suited for high-precision CNC milling operations where tight tolerances and small-diameter work are required.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and milling machines where small-diameter, corner-radius profiling is required. It is well suited for finishing passes and contour milling on hardened steels, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and plastics, corresponding to workpiece material codes H, M, N, P, and S. The extended reach design and reduced neck diameter of 1.40 mm allow access to deeper features and narrow slots without sacrificing rigidity in the cutting zone. Machinists and tooling specialists working in die-mold, aerospace, and general precision machining will find this tool applicable to fine-detail work.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical shank toolholders accepting a 6 mm shank diameter. Suitable for workpiece materials classified under codes H, M, N, P, and S, including hardened steels, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and plastics.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle is locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Use a properly sized collet or toolholder matched to the 6 mm shank diameter and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts, as TIR directly affects surface finish and corner radius accuracy.
