The SECO 00022026 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 6 mm mill diameter, a 0.2 mm corner radius, and five flutes, this single-end tool delivers smooth cutting action and extended tool life in steel, cast iron, superalloys, and hard materials. The tool features a TiAlN-based MEGA coating that resists heat and wear at elevated cutting temperatures. A high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the short flute length of 9 mm paired with an extended reach design makes it suitable for precision work in tight geometries. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool as a direct chuck or collet mount using the 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
This end mill is engineered for roughing operations on ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hard materials in the P, K, S, and H material groups. The JH930 series is built for short-reach, high-feed applications where rigidity and edge integrity are critical. The extended reach neck, with a 5.60 mm neck diameter and 15 mm reach length, allows the tool to access recessed features without sacrificing stability. Typical applications include die and mold work, aerospace component machining, and general-purpose CNC milling where corner protection and surface finish consistency are required.
Designed for use in CNC milling machines with standard 6 mm ER collet or hydraulic chuck toolholding systems. Intended for cutting steel, cast iron, superalloys, and hard materials as identified by material groups P, K, S, and H.
A licensed or qualified machinist should install this tool according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications and applicable shop safety procedures. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the end mill. Ensure the collet or chuck bore is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Do not exceed the toolholder's rated runout tolerance — the maximum TIR for this tool is 0.01 mm, so precision toolholding is required to maintain edge integrity.
