The SECO 00019494 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in hard material applications. It features a 10 mm cutting diameter, a 1 mm corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a medium helix angle of 20 degrees. The cutting edge runs 12 mm long, supported by a 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank and a 70 mm overall length. The MEGA-64 coating provides wear resistance and thermal stability suited for demanding machining conditions. This is a single-end, short-length-type tool configured for roughing operations.
This end mill is intended for machining hard materials, classified under material application code H. It is well suited for mold and die work, hardened steel components, and other high-hardness workpiece applications where corner integrity and tool rigidity are critical. The extended reach design, with a 25 mm reach length and a reduced neck diameter of 9.40 mm, allows access to deeper features while maintaining stability. It belongs to SECO's JH120 series, which targets precision roughing in difficult-to-machine materials.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Ensure the toolholder bore is clean and free of debris before seating the shank to the full grip depth. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm that cutting parameters are appropriate for the workpiece hardness and machine capability. Do not exceed the tool's rated geometry limits for depth of cut or feed rate.
