The SECO 00019437 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in hard materials. It features a 2 mm mill diameter, a 2.5 mm length of cut, and a 0.2 mm corner radius. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports efficient chip evacuation during roughing operations. A 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank and a reduced neck diameter of 1.90 mm allow extended reach into confined features. The MEGA-T coating provides wear resistance suited to hard material applications. This tool is a single-end design from the JH120 series and is intended for use by machinists and CNC toolroom technicians.
The 00019437 is engineered for milling hard workpiece materials, classified under material code H. Its short flute length and medium helix angle make it well suited for finishing and light roughing passes in hardened steels and similar high-hardness alloys. The extended reach configuration, with a 5 mm reach length and a 1.90 mm neck diameter, allows access to deep pockets and stepped features where standard-reach tooling cannot reach. It is used in CNC vertical machining centers and similar setups requiring tight tolerances in hard material. Package quantity is one piece per unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production end mill for CNC machining applications involving hard materials. Part of the SECO JH120 series.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Secure the 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank in a compatible collet or tool holder to the holder manufacturer's specified clamping procedure. Verify runout does not exceed the 0.01 mm maximum TIR before beginning the cut.
