The SECO 00016826 is a solid carbide, multi-directional turning (MDT) insert designed for precision external turning and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured to the LCMR insert style in the 1606M0 size code, it features a TiAlN/TiN PVD coating applied over a micrograin carbide substrate in the CP500 grade. The insert delivers a maximum cutting width of 0.236 inches, a cutting height of 0.177 inches, and a corner radius of 0.118 inches. The full-radius geometry and MP chipbreaker promote stable chip control across a wide range of workpiece materials.
