The SECO 00015003 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI/ISO designation XOMX180608TR-M14 and manufacturer grade F30M. Designed for use in shoulder and face milling operations, this parallelogram-shaped, right-hand insert features a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual coating over a micrograin carbide substrate. Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Before changing inserts, confirm the spindle is fully stopped, the machine is in an e-stop or lockout-tagout state, and the cutter body is secured. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the cutter body manufacturer's specified torque — refer to the cutter body documentation, as no torque value is specified for this insert. Inspect the insert pocket and locating surfaces for chips or debris before seating the new insert.
