The SECO 00013392 is a solid carbide milling insert in the LNKT-08 series, carrying manufacturer grade F40M and ANSI/ISO designation LNKT080516PPTN-M06. It features a PVD-applied TiAlN plus TiN dual coating over a fine-grain carbide substrate, delivering thermal and wear resistance suited to interrupted and high-feed milling operations. The insert is double-sided with 4 cutting edges, a negative rake angle of 15 degrees, a T-Land cutting edge style, and a 90-degree included angle. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.2835 inches and a corner radius of 0.0630 inches, this insert is sized for moderate material removal in precision milling applications. It is installed by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC and manual milling setups.
The SECO 00013392 is designed for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. It fits cutter bodies in the R335.18 series and uses the M06 chip breaker geometry, which is suited to medium cutting conditions in those material groups. The screw-held, neutral-hand design allows mounting in compatible toolholders without a preferred cutting direction, making it practical across a range of face milling and shoulder milling operations in both production and job-shop environments.
Compatible with R335.18 series cutter bodies. ANSI and ISO code LNKT080516PPTN-M06 applies. Intended for use in milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium workpiece materials.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Always de-energize and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing inserts. Use the correct torx or hex key to tighten the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified procedure. Inspect the pocket seating surface for chips or debris before installing the insert to ensure proper seating and runout.
