The SECO 00013351 is a right-hand SRGC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for lathe turning operations. It features a 1 inch by 1 inch steel shank with an overall length of 6 inches and accepts RCMT22 inserts secured by a screw-lock holding method. The neutral rake angle (0 degrees) and 45-degree lead angle make this toolholder well-suited for general-purpose turning across a wide range of workpiece materials. Installation is handled by machinists and CNC lathe operators in production and job-shop environments.
This toolholder is used for external turning applications on CNC and manual lathes. The SRGC series screw-lock design provides rigid insert clamping and repeatable cutting-edge positioning. It is rated for universal workpiece material compatibility, covering material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, which correspond to hardened materials, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and high-temperature alloys. The head length measures 1.5 inches and the back-of-bar to cutting edge distance is 1.25 inches.
Designed to accept RCMT22 inserts (complete insert compatibility: RCMT 22). Compatible with standard 1 inch by 1 inch shank toolholder seats on CNC and manual lathes configured for right-hand turning.
This toolholder is installed by machinists and CNC lathe operators. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or adjusting the toolholder or insert. Seat the shank fully in the tool block or turret and torque the clamping bolts per the machine manufacturer specification. Replace the RCMT22 insert at the first sign of edge wear to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
