The SECO 00013337 is a left-hand SCLC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for external turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It features a 3/4 x 3/4 inch shank, a neutral rake angle of 0 degrees, and a -5 degree lead angle. The screw-lock insert holding method secures compatible CC-style inserts firmly under cutting loads. With an overall length of 4.5 inches and a steel body, this toolholder is built for reliable, repeatable performance in production and job-shop turning environments. It is installed and set up by machinists and CNC turning technicians.
This toolholder is suited for universal workpiece material applications, covering material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, which span hardened materials, cast iron, stainless, non-ferrous alloys, steel, and superalloys. The left-hand cutting direction makes it appropriate for turning operations where the tool feeds from left to right relative to the spindle. It is a single-purpose, non-coolant-through design intended for standard external turning setups where a compact, rigid 3/4 inch shank is required.
Designed for use with CC..32.5. series inserts, including CCMT 32.52. The 3/4 x 3/4 inch shank fits standard lathe tool posts and turret pockets sized for that shank dimension. Compatible insert size code is CC325 with a 3/8 inch inscribed circle.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC turning technician. Power down and fully lock out the machine before changing toolholders or inserts. Secure the shank firmly in the tool post or turret to the machine manufacturer's specified clamping procedure. Verify insert seating and screw torque before resuming cutting operations, and inspect the insert and pocket for wear or debris before each setup.
