The SECO 00013336 is a right-hand SCLC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for external turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It features a neutral rake angle of 0 degrees and a square 0.75 inch by 0.75 inch steel shank with an overall length of 4.5 inches. The toolholder uses a screw-lock insert holding method, which provides solid clamping force and repeatable edge positioning during interrupted and continuous cuts. It is compatible with CC..32.5. series inserts, specifically CCMT 32.52 geometry. Machinists and CNC lathe operators working across a broad range of workpiece materials will find this holder appropriate for general-purpose turning applications.
This toolholder is suited for use in production and job-shop turning environments where a reliable, screw-clamped right-hand holder is needed. It is rated for universal primary workpiece material compatibility, covering material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, which correspond to hardened materials, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and high-temperature alloys. The -5 degree lead angle and neutral rake make it a versatile choice for facing, roughing, and finishing passes on a variety of part geometries. No coolant-through capability is included in this holder.
Designed for use with CC..32.5. series inserts. Confirmed compatible insert: CCMT 32.52. The insert inscribed circle measures 3/8 inch (0.375 inches). This holder is not a coolant-through design and does not accept inserts outside the CC..32.5. family.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the lathe is in a locked, de-energized state before mounting or indexing inserts. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key specified by the insert manufacturer when tightening the clamp screw — avoid overtightening, which can damage the screw seat. Verify tool center height and overhang before taking the first cut.
