The SECO 00013327 is a left-hand SCGC-style indexable turning toolholder designed for general-purpose single-point turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from steel with a screw-lock insert holding method, it accepts CC..32.5. series inserts with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle. The shank measures 0.5 inches wide by 0.5 inches high with an overall length of 3.5 inches. Neutral rake geometry at 0 degrees provides predictable chip formation across a broad range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers specify this holder for production turning where insert indexability and repeatable edge location are essential.
This toolholder is rated for universal primary workpiece material compatibility, covering material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. It is suited for residential and commercial machine shop environments, job shops, and production floor turning cells. The 90-degree lead angle and left-hand cutting direction make it appropriate for facing and straight turning approaches where the tool feeds from right to left. It is not equipped with coolant-through capability, so external coolant delivery must be used when flood or mist cooling is required.
Designed for use with CC..32.5. series inserts, including CCMT 32.52. The 3/8-inch inscribed circle insert and screw-lock holding method are standard for SCGC-style toolholders in this shank size. Verify turret bore and clamping requirements before installation.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Power down and fully de-energize the machine tool before seating or removing the toolholder from the turret. Use the appropriate torque wrench and insert screw driver to clamp the insert per the machine tool and toolholder manufacturer guidelines. Confirm tool offset and edge position after each insert index before returning the machine to cycle.
