The SECO 00013207 is a right-hand MVLN-style indexable turning toolholder designed for external turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built to the Multiple Lock series standard, it uses a clamp-and-pin insert holding method to secure VN..43. style inserts with a 1/2-inch inscribed circle. The toolholder features a negative rake angle of -4 degrees, a -5 degree lead angle, and a 1.25-inch by 1.25-inch square shank. At 6 inches overall length, it provides rigid setup geometry suited for general-purpose turning across a wide range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC lathe operators install this holder in production and job-shop environments.
This toolholder is intended for turning applications on both production CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Its universal material compatibility rating covers ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum, and superalloys, corresponding to ISO material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. The right-hand cutting direction and negative rake geometry make it well suited for roughing and semi-finishing passes where insert strength and edge security are priorities. It is a single-use-per-setup, non-coolant-through design.
Designed to accept VN..43. series inserts with a compatible insert size code of VN43 and a 1/2-inch inscribed circle. Catalog reference: MVLNR L204D.
This toolholder is installed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Always power down and lock out the lathe spindle before mounting or removing the toolholder from the turret. Verify insert seating and clamp-pin engagement before resuming cutting operations. Confirm shank clearance and turret pocket dimensions match the 1.25-inch by 1.25-inch shank before installation.
