The SECO 00013123 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI/ISO designation LNKT060516PPTN-M06 in manufacturer grade F40M. The insert features a rectangular shape with a 90-degree included angle and is double-sided, delivering four usable cutting edges per insert. A PVD-applied TiAlN plus TiN coating protects the fine-grain carbide substrate against heat and wear during interrupted and continuous cuts. The negative rake geometry with a T-Land cutting edge style and M06 chip breaker is tuned for stable chip control across a wide range of workpiece materials. Insert thickness is 0.1969 inches and the inscribed circle diameter is 0.2362 inches, placing it in the LNKT-06 series. A corner radius of 0.0630 inches reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge.
This insert is suited for face milling, shoulder milling, and general-purpose milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. It is compatible with the SECO R335.18 cutter series. Primary workpiece material codes are P, K, and S, with secondary codes K and N also supported. The maximum depth of cut reaches 0.2362 inches, and the effective cutting edge length is 0.2362 inches, making this insert appropriate for moderate metal-removal-rate applications in both production-floor and job-shop environments. Screw-style insert holding ensures rigid, repeatable seating in the cutter body.
