The SECO 00005983 is a solid carbide milling insert in the XOEX-12 series, designed for high-performance metal removal in milling operations. The insert is parallelogram-shaped with a 90-degree included angle, a positive 26.3-degree rake angle, and a sharp cutting edge style that reduces cutting forces and heat generation. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.4724 inches and two usable cutting edges, it suits demanding roughing and semi-finishing passes on a variety of workpiece materials.
