Built to the RCMM insert standard, this insert features a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) inscribed circle, a 1/4 inch insert thickness, and a full 3/8 inch corner radius with a 360-degree included angle — meaning every edge is a cutting edge. The manufacturer grade is 883, and the cutting edge style is honed for consistent entry and chip formation. With four available cutting edges and a positive rake geometry, this insert delivers efficient stock removal in demanding applications. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers install this type of tooling in production turning cells and job-shop lathes.
This insert is engineered primarily for superalloys and titanium (ISO material code S), with secondary suitability for steel (M), cast iron (K), non-ferrous materials (N), and hardened materials (H). It suits facing, profiling, and full-radius turning operations. Do not exceed the maximum depth of cut of 0.3750 inches, as specified for this insert geometry.
