The SEALED UNIT PARTS CD2290-2 is a 2-pack of locking refrigerant safety caps designed to seal and secure 1/4-inch Schrader valve cores on refrigerant service ports. Each cap locks in place to prevent refrigerant loss, tampering, and accidental venting between service visits. The nickel-plated construction provides corrosion resistance for use in both indoor and outdoor installations. These caps are compatible with standard valve core key CD3813 and other Schrader core removers, which are sold separately. HVAC technicians install these caps as a best practice on system service ports after charging, recovering, or performing pressure checks.

The CD2290-2 is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC systems wherever 1/4-inch Schrader service ports are present.
