The SCOTCH 7000048415 is a general-purpose paper masking tape engineered for high-temperature paint masking, surface protection, and holding applications. Built on a conformable tan paper backing with a rubber adhesive, it delivers 27 lb/in tensile strength and resists solvents, moisture, and adhesive transfer. At 6 mil thick, the tape tears cleanly by hand without a dispenser. It is designed for use in industrial, automotive, and maintenance environments where reliable adhesion and clean removal after bake cycles are required.

This tape is suited for masking prior to spray painting, powder coating prep, and anodized aluminum surface work. It performs in high-temperature ovens and paint booths, removing cleanly after bake exposure at temperatures up to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) for up to 30 minutes.
