Scotch Rubber Mastic Tape 2228-1X10FT is a rubber electrical insulating tape designed for sealing and insulating applications. It is made from ethylene propylene rubber, offering durability and flexibility. The tape is 65 mils thick, ideal for quick application build-up. Use this tape for electrical insulation and moisture sealing tasks.
- Conformable and self-fusing rubber tape
- Resistant to moisture and UV exposure
- UL recognized for applications up to 130°C
Product Highlights
This tape applies in halflapped layers for effective insulation. Stretch to three-fourths of its original width for a tight seal and overwrap with Scotch Super 33+ for added protection.
