The SCIENTIFIC CUTTING TOOLS TMLR2.5.45MMELA is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal M2.5 x 0.45 metric coarse threads. It features three right-hand flutes, a cutting diameter of 0.073 inches, and a 0.25-inch length of cut. The tool is coated with AlTiN+ for extended tool life in demanding materials. At 2.5 inches overall length, the long-reach geometry allows access to recessed features and deep-pocket thread applications. Manufactured from submicron-grade solid carbide, it delivers dimensional accuracy and edge retention in ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials.
