The Square D 8536SBO2V01H30S NEMA motor starter is designed for full voltage starting and stopping of AC squirrel cage motors. This model features a non-reversing, three-pole configuration with a rating of up to eighteen amperes. It can handle three-phase motors rated at three horsepower at two hundred and thirty volts AC and five horsepower at four hundred and sixty volts AC. The device includes a Motor Logic overload relay that detects overcurrent conditions within a range of six to eighteen amperes. It is suitable for applications requiring a Short Circuit Current Rating of up to one hundred kA when connected to the appropriate circuit protection.
