The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC QOB330GFI is a 3-pole, 30-amp ground fault interrupting (GFI) miniature circuit breaker of the thermal magnetic type. It provides both overcurrent protection and ground fault protection in a single bolt-on device rated for 208 VAC Star/120 VAC at 50/60 Hz. The breaker carries a 10-kiloampere interrupting rating and a 6-milliampere trip sensitivity for ground fault detection. Terminal connections use box lug style and accept wire sizes from 14 to 8 AWG copper or 12 to 8 AWG aluminum. Licensed electricians install this device in commercial and light-industrial panelboard applications.
The QOB330GFI is designed for bolt-on installation in NQ Panelboards and NQOD Panelboard interiors. It is also compatible with NQOD OEM Interiors and Speed-D Switchboard Distribution Panels. The QOB series is a bolt-on product line intended for use in QO Loadcenters and NQOD Panelboards. This makes the QOB330GFI a practical fit for commercial electrical distribution systems where ground fault protection is required at the branch circuit level alongside standard overcurrent protection.
Designed for bolt-on installation in NQ Panelboards, NQOD Panelboard interiors, NQOD OEM Interiors, and Speed-D Switchboard Distribution Panels. QOB series breakers are also compatible with QO Loadcenters as plug-on products.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the panelboard and verify absence of voltage before installing or replacing the breaker. Confirm that conductor size, material, and torque requirements match the box lug terminal specifications for the wire gauge used. Do not exceed the terminal wire size range; using conductors outside the rated AWG range can compromise the connection integrity and void listings.
