The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC QO260EPD is a 2-pole, 60-ampere thermal magnetic miniature circuit breaker with an equipment protector function. Rated at 120/240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, it carries a 10-kiloampere interrupting rating and a 30-milliampere trip sensitivity for equipment protection. The plug-on mounting design is compatible with QO Loadcenter, NQOD Panelboard, and OEM Interior/Speed-D Switchboard Distribution Panel configurations. This breaker is installed by licensed electricians working on residential and light commercial distribution systems. Box lug terminals accept wire sizes from 14 to 6 AWG copper or 12 to 4 AWG aluminum, accommodating a range of branch-circuit wiring configurations.
The QO260EPD is suited for residential loadcenters and commercial panelboards where a double-pole, 60-ampere overcurrent protective device is required with equipment protection capability. Its plug-on design integrates directly into QO Loadcenter and NQOD Panelboard interiors, making it a direct-fit solution for new construction and replacement work. Compatible listed panel types include the QO Loadcenter, NQOD Panelboard, OEM Interior, and Speed-D Switchboard Distribution Panel.
Designed for use in QO Loadcenter, NQOD Panelboard, OEM Interior, and Speed-D Switchboard Distribution Panel applications as stated by the manufacturer. Plug-on mounting only; not interchangeable with bolt-on QOB configurations.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panel before removing or installing any circuit breaker. Verify conductor sizing meets NEC ampacity requirements for the circuit load before terminating wires at the box lug terminals. Do not install this plug-on breaker in panels requiring bolt-on QOB-style breakers.
