The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC NF430L4 is a 400-ampere panelboard interior designed for 3-phase, 4-wire distribution systems rated at 600 VAC Star/347 VAC. It supports both main lug and main breaker configurations using LAL or LHL type main breakers, with bolt-on EDB branch breakers and a maximum of 30 circuits. The interior feeds from the bottom and uses an aluminum bus. It is built for lighting and distribution applications and is UL listed. Licensed electricians install this interior into compatible NF-series panelboard enclosures in commercial and industrial settings.
This panelboard interior is suited for lighting and power distribution in commercial buildings, multi-tenant facilities, and industrial installations where a 3-phase, 4-wire system is required. The bottom feed location accommodates typical conduit routing in these environments. It fits NEMA 1 enclosures measuring 20 inches wide by 5.75 inches deep by 50 inches high for the interior and 20 inches wide by 5.75 inches deep by 62 inches high for the trim. For NEMA 3R and NEMA 12 enclosures, the corresponding depths increase to 6.5 inches. This interior is part of the Square D I-Line NF series product family.
Designed for use with Square D I-Line NF-series panelboard enclosures in NEMA 1, NEMA 3R, and NEMA 12 configurations. Compatible enclosure and trim sizes are specified separately for each NEMA rating. Refer to enclosure documentation to confirm fit before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the enclosure and verify absence of voltage before handling any interior components. Confirm that the enclosure NEMA rating and physical dimensions match the interior before mounting. Torque all bus connections and breaker terminations to the values specified in the manufacturer installation instructions.
