The LRD146 is designed for use in IEC-style motor starter assemblies in both light industrial and commercial applications. It mounts directly to compatible contactors and handles overload protection for three-phase motor loads within its 7 to 10 amp adjustment range. Typical install scenarios include conveyor drives, pump starters, fan motors, and other fixed-speed motor loads requiring reliable overcurrent protection. Compatible contactors include the LC1D09 and LC1D38 series.

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the NEC and any applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panel before mounting or wiring the relay to the contactor assembly. Verify the motor nameplate FLA falls within the 7 to 10 amp adjustment range before setting the dial. Do not adjust the current setting dial while the contactor is energized.
