The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC HCR548612U is a Square D I-Line panelboard interior designed for large-scale lighting and power distribution applications. Rated for 1200 amperes at 600 VAC or 250 VDC, this interior accommodates up to 108 spaces in a 3-phase configuration. The universal main lug and backfed main breaker type provides flexible feed options without requiring a dedicated main breaker assembly in the interior itself. The copper bus construction delivers reliable conductivity and long-term durability under heavy load cycles. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this interior into compatible panelboard enclosures during new construction or service upgrades in commercial and industrial facilities.
This panelboard interior is suited for bottom-feed lighting and distribution panelboard installations in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. The 108-space capacity supports dense branch circuit layouts, making it practical for large office buildings, manufacturing facilities, and similar high-circuit-count applications. The enclosure and trim size runs 44 inches wide by 9.5 inches deep by 86 inches tall, accommodating a wide range of branch breaker families including FA, FC, FH, FI, FY, QB, QD, QG, QJ, KA, KH, KC, KI, Q4, LA, LH, LC, LI, LX, LXI, MG, MJ, PG, PJ, PL, PGC, PJC, PCL, RGC, RJC, and RLC series breakers.

Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the upstream service before handling any panelboard interior components. At 214 pounds gross shipping weight, a lift assist or second technician is required for safe positioning into the enclosure. Verify bus torque specifications and wire termination requirements against the manufacturer documentation supplied with the unit before energizing.
