The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC GVAD1001 is an auxiliary contact block accessory designed for use with TeSys series motor circuit breakers. It adds supplementary switching contacts to the base circuit breaker, allowing control circuits to monitor or signal the open or closed state of the breaker. This block mounts directly to compatible GV2 and GV3 series devices without additional hardware modifications. Licensed electricians and industrial control panel builders install this type of accessory during panel assembly or field retrofits. At 3.6 inches tall, 3.5 inches long, and 0.4 inches wide, it fits within tight DIN-rail panel layouts.

This auxiliary contact block is suited for residential and commercial motor protection panels as well as industrial machine control enclosures. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements and the manufacturer's wiring diagrams. De-energize and lock out the circuit breaker and all associated control circuits before attaching or removing the auxiliary contact block. The block snaps directly onto the side of the base circuit breaker — verify seating is secure before closing the enclosure. Do not exceed the auxiliary contact ratings for the connected control circuit load.
