The Schneider Electric EZML113225 is a plug-in meter center branch unit rated for 225 amperes per socket, designed for use in EZ Meter-Pak multi-socket meter centers serving commercial applications. It operates on a 1-phase, 3-wire circuit at 120/240 VAC and carries a 1,200-ampere bus current rating with an aluminum/copper bus. The unit features three plug-in sockets with ringless socket covers that include lever bypass and jaw release. It is housed in a NEMA 3R, indoor/rainproof steel enclosure and is intended for surface wall-mount installation by licensed electricians on commercial construction projects.
This branch unit is suited for multi-unit commercial construction where multiple metered services must be distributed from a single meter center assembly. It is designed for wall mounting only and is suitable for use as service equipment as well as on the line side of service equipment. All unmetered conductor compartments can be sealed by the utility company. The commercial-grade construction and NEMA 3R enclosure make it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor-protected installations where moisture resistance is required.
Designed for use with EZ Meter-Pak meter center assemblies accepting QBP-TM, QDP-TM, QGP-TM, and QJP-TM breaker types in commercial 1-phase, 3-wire service configurations. Compatible with 5-jaw socket metering installations.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. The service must be de-energized and the utility notified before installing or replacing a meter center branch unit. This unit is rated for surface wall mounting only and must not be flush or recessed. Verify utility sealing requirements for unmetered conductor compartments prior to commissioning.
