The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC 9001KS46FB is a 3-position maintained selector switch operator head designed for industrial control panel applications. This unit ships as the switch operator only, with no contact blocks included, and accepts standard 30mm panel cutouts. The octagonal chrome metal bezel provides a durable, professional finish. Rated IP66 for dust-tight and powerful water jet protection, and carrying NEMA ratings 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 12, and 13, this switch is built to handle demanding environments. The maintained-action (MA) handle holds its selected position until physically moved, making it well suited for mode selection, circuit isolation, and on/off control duty in control enclosures and machine panels.
The 9001KS46FB fits 30mm operator openings in standard industrial control panels and enclosures. Typical applications include motor control centers, machine tool panels, pump control stations, and process equipment enclosures where a reliable 3-position maintained selector is required. Because the unit ships without contact blocks, the installer selects and adds the appropriate contact block assemblies separately to complete the switch assembly. This configuration is common in facilities maintenance and OEM panel build environments where contact block type is specified independently.
Designed as an OEM-style operator head for 30mm industrial selector switch assemblies. Compatible contact blocks and accessories are selected separately based on circuit requirements.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC and applicable local electrical codes. De-energize the control panel and verify zero-energy state before mounting the operator or attaching contact blocks. The 30mm hole diameter should be clean and deburred before insertion to avoid damage to the bezel. Contact block assemblies must be attached and torqued per the contact block manufacturer specifications before returning the circuit to service.
