The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC 9001KS11K2 is a 2-position maintained selector switch operator designed for industrial control panel applications. Rated at 600 volts, it features a black knob operator that locks in position when actuated, making it well suited for circuits that require a sustained on or off state without continuous operator input. The chrome metal bezel and 30 mm panel mount format follow standard industrial cutout sizing. The unit ships as the switch operator only, with zero contact blocks included, so installers pair it with the appropriate contact block assembly to complete the electrical circuit.
This selector switch is intended for panel-mount installation in industrial and commercial control enclosures. The 30 mm mounting hole diameter is a widely used format across machine control and process automation applications. Its dust-resistant, oil-resistant, and weatherproof construction makes it appropriate for demanding environments including wash-down, outdoor, and oily-atmosphere installations. Electricians and industrial control technicians install this operator on motor starters, conveyor controls, pump panels, and similar equipment where a maintained two-position switch is required.
Designed as an OEM-style operator for 30 mm selector switch assemblies requiring a 2-position maintained knob operator. Compatible enclosure NEMA ratings include 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 6, 12, and 13. No contact blocks are included and must be ordered separately to complete the switch assembly.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician or qualified industrial control technician. De-energize and lock out the control panel before removing any existing operator or contact block assembly in accordance with NFPA 70E lockout/tagout procedures. The 30 mm mounting hole should be verified before installation. Torque the mounting hardware to the enclosure manufacturer specifications and confirm the contact block is fully seated and secured before restoring power.
